Transplant Teenz Founded
Transplant Teenz supports all teenagers (7th-12th grade) impacted by the transplant experience—whether they have undergone or are awaiting organ or tissue transplants, or have a household member who has gone through or is awaiting a transplant.
We understand the unique challenges that come with these experiences and aim to empower teens through virtual support group, interactive resources, and a safe space to share the ups and downs that can come with healing.
Our theme empowers Teenz to view common challenges such as depression, and body image, as villains they can conquer, rather than burdens they must endure. By fostering this mindset, we guide teens to navigate their transplant and journey with resilience, community, and self-acceptance.
