Transplant Trustees
We operate 4 advisory boards:
Teen
12+ - High School Graduate
Received or on the list waiting for an organ or tissue transplant
Able to articulate thoughts, feelings, and needs well
Caregiver
Caregiver to someone that natigated or is currently navigating the transplant process as a teen.
Medical
Medical professional that is able to offer insight into the adolescent transplant experience physically, emotionally and physiologically etc. We will not be offering any type of medical advice or treatment. This position requires your medical knowledge but you will NOT be practicing or giving advice to patients, parents, etc.
Industry
Persons that are familiar with the industries pertaining to transplant. Included but not limited to, OPOs, Pharmaceutical, Hospitals, etc.
Advisor Requirements:

Occupy board position for 1 year. (Inaugural year until December 2025)

Attend all Board meetings (virtually) to the best of their ability.

Provide the Organization with their expertise and experience in Advisor's Area of Expertise on an advisory basis.

Participate in discussions and offer recommendations regarding the Organization's mission, programs, and activities.

Uphold the confidentiality of all non-public information of the Organization.

The time commitment shall not exceed more than 3 hours per month.
