Launch Prep is Transplant Teenz' transition readiness program designed to prepare transplant recipients ages for one of life's biggest milestones—the move from pediatric to adult healthcare and the journey toward independent adulthood.
As we build this program, we're inviting a select group of individuals to help shape its future from the very beginning.
The Launch Prep Steering Committee will provide guidance, lived experience, and professional expertise to ensure the program reflects the real challenges, opportunities, and needs of transplant teens and their families.
Who We're Looking For
We're seeking individuals who are passionate about preparing transplant teens for life beyond pediatric care, including:

Young adult transplant recipients (especially those who have recently transitioned to adult care)

Parents and caregivers
-
Transplant physicians and surgeons

Nurses and transplant coordinators
-
Psychologists, social workers, and child life specialists

Researchers and educators
-
Community leaders and transplant advocates
What You'll Do
As a member of the Steering Committee, you'll help:

Shape the vision and direction of Launch Prep

Identify the life skills that matter most

Review curriculum, resources, and participant experiences

Provide feedback on new ideas and initiatives
-
Ensure the program reflects both clinical expertise and lived experience

Help prepare transplant teens for confident, successful adulthood
